The Common Admission Test (CAT 2023) score will be used to determine admission to the three MBA programs offered by the Indian Institute of Management Mumbai.
The Indian Institute of Management (Amendment) Bill 2023 was approved on August 8 by both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha of Parliament, replacing the IIM Act of 2017, which had been in effect for six years. The Public Establishment of Modern Designing, or NITIE, has been remembered for the IIM change Act 2023 as 21st IIM and renamed as the IIM Mumbai.
Dharmendra Pradhan, the Union education minister, introduced the bill with the intention of appointing the President of India as a visitor to the IIMs, which would limit the IIMs’ autonomy. As a result, CAT 2023 scores will be used to determine admission to IIM Mumbai’s three MBA programs: Master of Business Administration (MBA), MBA in Operations and Supply Chain Management, and MBA in Sustainability Management.
